Piper Mead: Co-President

Hi Friends, My name is Piper Mead and I am honored to be back for my second year as PTO Co-President for Oak Terrace. My wife Caroline and I have two boys, a third grader named Clayton and a kindergartener named Crosby. We absolutely love Oak Terrace and the community we have found at this school. We have lived in Highwood for 9 years and plan to stay forever. This school is so special and my goal is to keep making things better for our kids, their teachers, and all of you as parents and caregivers. Hola amigos, mi nombre es Piper Mead y me siento honrada de estar de regreso por segundo año como copresidenta de la PTO en Oak Terrace. Mi esposa Caroline y yo tenemos dos hijos, uno de tercer grado llamado Clayton y otro de kindergarten llamado Crosby. Nos encanta Oak Terrace y la comunidad que hemos encontrado en esta escuela. Hemos vivido en Highwood durante 9 años y planeamos quedarnos para siempre. Melody Golden: Co-President

This is my first year holding a title in the Oak Terrace PTO. My daughter, Aliyah, is in her second year of Early Childhood. My son, Ezra, is a year and a half old and wishes he could go to class with Aliyah. I love our school and neighborhood and will work hard to support it and build our community.

Anita Koenitz-Hudac: Co-Vice President

Hi OT Monarchs! My name is Anita Koenitz-Hudac and I am excited to be your co-Vice President for Oak Terrace's PTO. I have two boys at Oak Terrace, Milo who is a kindergartener and Charles, who is in 2nd grade. We have lived in Highwood for twelve years, we love it here! I work as a school psychologist and know how much time and effort goes into a successful school year! I am looking forward to helping connect the school and community with the work of the PTO.

Valentina Rodino: Co Vice-President

Hello, Monarchs! My name is Valentina Rodino, and I am your co-Vice President for Oak Terrace’s PTO.  I have a son, Luca, who is in 2nd grade, and a daughter, Nora, 4, who will be coming to Oak Terrace soon! Highwood is a city near and dear to my heart, as my family has deep roots here, and I’m carrying on that love through my own family. Being in education myself, I understand the importance of building a community at a school, and as a parent, I am committed to contributing to a community that supports all the wonderful students, staff and faculty at Oak Terrace.  I’m looking forward to an exciting and fun year ahead!

Jai Shah: Treasurer

Hola OT Monarchs! My name is Jai Shah, and I’m the father of 3rd grader Vivek Shah. We also have a 7th grader at Northwood. I’ll be your new Treasurer this year. I’ve been involved with the PTO in the capacity of Co-chair of the Fun Fair for the past two years, as well as the Parents Backyard Bash. I look forward to meeting many more of you and giving back to this wonderful community!

Bev Terranova: Secretary

Hi OT Monarchs!  I’m Bev Terranova and have been an Oak Terrace parent since 2016 and the PTO secretary since 2017!  I have two older daughters at Northwood Junior High and a first grade daughter at Oak Terrace.  Having been a part of Oak Terrace for so long, I have seen a lot of change but one thing stays the same; the loving and accepting sense of belonging and community that my family and I always feel being a part of this school.  It truly is a special place! Looking forward to a great year and can’t wait to meet you!

Heather Cordero: Administrative Support

Hello! I’m Heather Cordero, and both of our kids are at OT–Josiah, who’s in 2nd grade, and Cassie, who is in 5th. Cassie and Josiah started the Dual Language program at Green Bay and have had an amazing experience in our schools! We have lived in Highwood for 11 years, and I work in the community as the Administrator at Church of the Redeemer. I have a background in student life in higher education, and I’m looking forward to supporting the executive team this year. We hope to help parents get connected to our team and the life of our school!
